The main aim of this blog is to help out new Ubuntu users in the Maldives – to help them get started once they have installed Ubuntu on their computers. Another aim is to raise awareness about Open Source software amongst Maldivians.
Since I’m also very much new to Ubuntu (I’ve been using Windows for about a decade now) I understand that others like me will also take a little bit of time getting used to the new, yet refreshing environment offered by Ubuntu. So I created this blog to help such people as much as I can and to share new things I learn about Ubuntu.
I’m sure there are many experienced users of Ubuntu (and other distros of Linux) in Maldives. If any of you would like to contribute to this blog (like submitting a post), you are very much welcome to do so.
If you have any ideas which could make this blog better or have any questions, please let me know by leaving a comment or by emailing me.

Thanks for the comment on my site.
Your ubuntu experiment has been very helpful for users who want to use ubuntu os in maldives.
This blog has been very helpful for not only Maldivians, but also at least one southern Californian!
